Carolyn Cowan is known for her painterly style of portrait photography.
She has spend 15 years working on a series of portraits of naked pregnant
women, but does not mind photographing normal naked beings either,
She works from her house in Camberwell or in the countryside. The police
seem to object somewhat strongly to the use of city locations.
